Becoming a new mom is overwhelming. Here are some affirmations I am using in this new phase of life.
- I intuitively know what my baby needs.
- My worth is not tied to how many ounces I can pump.
- I can take each moment as it comes.
- Better sleep is just around the corner.
- There is no one who can mother this child like I can.
- My healthiest self is the safest refuge for my baby.
- Asking for help gives my baby the best of me.
- The quiet moments alone with my baby will be some of my most treasured memories.
- While I mourn the way my baby changes so quickly, I look forward to new milestones we get to experience together.
- Choosing one healthy habit a day can go a long way. (Eat more veggies with dinner, walk barefoot in the grass, take the baby outside for the sunset, enjoy a stretch session, fill a water jug up in the morning, and drink all day)
