Fall is finally here! In Florida, that means 80-degree weather but we LOVE it. It’s such a welcome break from the extreme summer heat. I like to make some cozy fall treats once the weather starts to get cooler. I like to make healthy treats but also comfort food treats filled with butter and goodness. It’s all about balance, right?!?
Check out our recent favorites below!
Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake
Paula Deen’s Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake is one of our favorite fall indulgences! It’s really easy to make and perfect for family gatherings. PRO TIP: Serve it for the holidays so there are no leftovers to snack on haha!
I’ve been searching for a slightly healthier alternative. Let me know in the comments if you have a good recipe!
Pumpkin Snack Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
This cake is sooooo good. I recently made it and Loren, Roux, and I were all huge fans! I would recommend adding about 10 minutes to the baking time. Next time, I might make it in two 9×9 pans instead of one 9×13 pan so it’s not as soft in the middle BUT it’s delicious regardless!
I think it would even be good as muffins without the frosting for a healthier treat!
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Energy Balls
I love Rachel’s recipes from Clean Food Crush and these Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Energy Balls are no exception. They’re SO GOOD and pretty healthy to have in the fridge for the week!
Pumpkin Spice Shakeology Energy Balls
These are a great protein version of pumpkin balls! If you don’t have Shakeology, you can use any vanilla protein base. These will keep you full longer in addition to satisfying your sweet tooth!
Chocolate Covered Halloween Pretzels
This is a great one for toddlers! I love to include Roux when I make these. It’s messy and they don’t look perfect in the end but they’re still delicious and kids have SO MUCH FUN being involved.
