That’s why I wanted to share my 10 favorite healthy lifestyle tips that help me stay on track while traveling to motivate you on your next trip!
- Cook your own meals if possible [book a spot with a kitchen if you can]. Bring healthy staples like superfood smoothie or kid’s daily sunshine smoothie for a definite healthy meal you can count on.
- Shop for healthy snacks to last you the whole time [grocery delivery makes this easy]
- Plan at least one active activity daily [morning walks are my fav on vacation!]
- Download Fit Camp workouts ahead of time & choose no equipment workouts
- Plan your splurges : if ice cream is on the agenda, you shouldn’t necessarily skip. But, instead of pancakes that day for breakfast, make a healthier choice.
- Pack workout clothes: if you have them, you’re more likely to fit something in, even if it’s short.
- Try to fit in salads for lunch, greens are easy to skip while traveling.
- If available, rent bikes instead of taking an uber.
- Bring water to your hotel or VRBO. [again, grocery delivery]
- Boost up on Vitamin C, probiotics & greens before your vacation & while you are out of your normal element.
These tips have helped me coming back from vacation feeling refreshed instead of sluggish!
